My grandmother and my nephew share the same birthday, so in 2011 we hosted a joint surprise birthday cookout for them. Nanny, as we call her, celebrated her 75th birthday while Guy celebrated his third. The party also coincided with Mother’s Day so we celebrated that as well. And all three make the perfect Flashback Friday today. Nanny and Guy will celebrate their birthday Wednesday and Mother’s Day is next Sunday.
