It poured the morning of Rhen and Erin’s Paynefield Farm wedding in Tappahannock last month, but you wouldn’t have known it by the time the ceremony hit. The rain stopped and the two were able to say their vows under a gorgeous handcrafted arbor created by the bride’s father, the groom and his father and several of the groom’s family members and decorated by the groom’s aunt and uncle. Inside the barn were more handcrafted details including burlap table decorations and centerpieces featuring the couple’s initials created by Erin and her mom. Following the vows, the two danced the night away with their family and friends under the barn’s twinkling lights before cutting their cake created by the groom’s aunt, Shirley. After a massive celebration that included every dance song you can imagine (Wobble anyone?), Rhen and Erin exited the venue by way of an arch made by their loved ones. Congratulations Rhen and Erin! I can’t wait to see you build your lives together!

Wow what a gorgeous wedding! I love the twinkling lights in the barn. My dad actually used to own a restaurant in Tappahannock so I am very familiar with the town 🙂 beautiful pictures! I love the one with the bridesmaids holding up their bouquets and looking back.
Gorgeous wedding photography! You captured the details, emotions and events of the day so beautifully!
