In early June, the pastor of my church decided to try something a little different–family fun day. Instead of having our normal indoor worship service after which everyone goes there separate ways, he decided to have an outdoor service, followed by a potluck picnic and games. It was different, but it worked. The service was well attended and the lunch afterward was delicious.
